In my last post I wrote the following...
"We have over 1,300 posts and that's not counting all the stuff from the first two and a half years that got lost during the archive shuffling.
I mean that though, I don't know what I would do if I went to pull it up one day and it was no longer here."
Well, that day is today. For a number of reasons, all posts before the Version 4 upgrade have been removed by my own hand. I don't want to get into it and yes, a lot of remembrance of good times were removed, but it was something that needed to be done. The online world is a funny thing, it can remain eternal as much as it is ever-changing. Some of the things from another time and another place here on ZeroEleven.blog need not be eternal. Unfortunately that means everything else goes with it but it remains the best decision.
So from 1,300+ posts down to like six. Memories should be memories. However, the blog will continue - hopefully with a more mature mindset going forward.
Maybe things are finally going to start getting more sophisticated around here.

I Love This Blog
I just wanted to say that. I love this blog. We have over 1,300 posts and that's not counting all the stuff from the first two and a half years that got lost during the archive shuffling.
I mean that though, I don't know what I would do if I went to pull it up one day and it was no longer here.

Four Walls That Hold Me
Sometime this weekend I plan on kicking around some ideas for a new title graphic for the blog. My whole thing this time around is to make them interchangeable, I think I'll rotate them monthly or something. I also have some writing to get through, a review for my site, I have a couple games to finish up - lots of stuff. That's the plan anyway. Also I need to get my site fully up to date with the status of my collection, another reason I need to finish up those games. Many I simply got really cheap and need to spend a little time with to see if they're worth keeping.
There's also a special project I want to mess around with a little more, hopefully enough that I can actually get going on it soon.

Zeroeleven.blog Version 4
Alright, there are probably many more versions of the blog but as long as I've been taking care of these hallowed halls, this makes it my fourth version. I was starting to grow tired of the charcoal colored previous version, it just seemed dreary which made me want to post even less. The new layout isn't quite white but it's much brighter while still remaining easy to read. I was thinking of going full black but that's how my personal blog is, which is supposed to resemble old arcade displays. I realize we don't post anywhere near as much as we used to but once again I'm going to try to turn that around. I still post here but the rest of the team has moved onto other things, this I realize as well. However I still want to keep the blog going, if anything as a place where the posts can be made should Alex or Chris care to return and toss something out. I still post from time to time and want to get back into it more. Heck, I read the archives here quite a bit and I'm thinking of archiving them offline - lots of good stuff.
As before, the entire template is hosted at ClassicPlastic.net to ensure it doesn't mysteriously disappear as was the case when I first took the reigns of Zeroeleven.blog. Credit is still given to Blogger, as it always has been, for powering the blog. I decided to go back to my original title graphic from all those years ago, reworked slightly to match the new layout and proclaim that this blog has been around since 2001. Sure the archives from those very first months were lost a long time ago but think about it - we've been blogging here for over ten years! Maybe that's why I just can't let it die.
Yeah, I know that title image is horribly outdated but I always get a kick out of it when going through my file archives, making backups, what have you. Chris chugging some Katingdaeng at work, myself sunburned with a GunCon2 drawn, and our furious leader Alex that brought this whole mess together. Then of course the Centipede marquee art with Makoto Kino from Sailor Moon wearking a UN SPACY uniform from The Super Dimension Fortress Macross and the blog title in the TRON font. Good times, I'm sure all three of us would agree. I am planning on making a new title graphic, but this "classic edition" one is good for the time being.
Last addition is that of post labels and an auto archive for that. Simply type in what you'd like a post to be classified under and the blog should not only add tthe term to the list, it should put all matching labels together and create the list on the fly.
Well, that's it. Welcome back to Zeroeleven.blog -
